The Mill at Sonning is a theatre, on an island in the Thames, with a varied programme of visiting shows.
It is located in an old flour mill which only closed in 1969. The project to convert it commenced in 1977, led by Eileen and Tim Richards and the theatre opened in 1982. The Mill won a conservation award from The Times and The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. It has won UK Theatre awards in 2016 and 2017.
