The Aberdeen Sinfonietta is one of the leading musical ensembles in the North East, giving regular concerts and also providing orchestral support to choral societies in the area.

A healthy and happy food & drink festival, focusing on veganism and vegetarianism (although if you're a carnivore you won't be shunned, just don't fire up the BBQ). There are stalls, speakers, film screenings and loads to explore about a meat-free lifestyle.

A widely-varied programme of events aimed at people over 50, with equal emphasis on entertainment and education. Workshops, cookery demonstrations, art classes and keep fit sessions are complemented by live music performances, walks, exhibitions and plays, both in public venues around Aberdeen and on site in nursing homes.

On the first Sunday of the month from April to October, Aberfeldy town square comes alive with stallholders selling meat, fish, bread, olives, cheese, chocolate and hand-made jams and preserves using local fruit and vegetables. There is also arts and crafts to browse.

Aberfeldy's film festival is a celebration of music in film with screenings taking place at Birks Cinema and Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery. The programme also features a gala opening, short film competitions and the opportunity to meet directors and discuss their work.
